Classes are typically held at:
AMDA Studios
244–250 W 54th Street
New York, NYI intentionally use AMDA Studios because it helps create a healthy separation between class and audition environments.
Studios like Pearl and Ripley-Grier are strongly associated with the audition process, and that can make a class start to feel like an extension of the audition room. That is not the goal here. Save My Audition classes are meant to be a place to work, learn, take risks, and get better.
You may still notice the energy of a busy training space — students in the lobby, hallway noise, other classes happening nearby — and honestly, that is part of the value. It keeps the environment active and professional without turning the room into a fake audition.
Specific location details will be sent prior to class. That way, if anything changes, you will have the correct information before you arrive.
-
These classes are open to anyone, regardless of union status.
But let’s be clear: this is a place to work, not to fake an audition. The professionals who teach these classes can smell that from a mile away.
Save My Audition classes are for actors who want to grow, sharpen their material, and get better at what they do. If that’s why you’re here, great. You’ll get a lot out of it.
If you’re just coming to be seen, you should probably take class somewhere else.
-
Come prepared to work.
That means you should arrive with whatever materials are needed for the class you signed up for, and you should be ready to participate fully. If a class requires specific prep, instructions will be included in the class listing or sent in advance.
In general, you should plan to bring what you need to do your best work in the room: your material, your focus, something to take notes with, and a willingness to try things.
The more prepared you are, the more useful the class will be. Simple as that.
-
In-person audition classes are generally 3 hours long and consist of only 10 actors, unless otherwise noted.
Class size matters. Smaller groups mean more individual attention, more time working in the room, and more value for your money.
If a class has a different format, length, or capacity, that will be clearly stated in the listing.
-
Payment is due at checkout for all classes.
For classes over $99, a payment plan option is available. If you choose that option, a $99 deposit will be due at checkout, and you’ll be contacted directly to set up a plan for the remaining balance. Any remaining balance must be paid before the first class.
If you need a little more flexibility, please reach out. I’m always happy to work with families to create a payment arrangement that feels manageable. No one needs to financially spiral in order to take an audition class.
-
For single-session classes, cancellations made more than 3 days before class are eligible for a full refund, minus processing fees.
If a cancellation is made within 3 days of the class date, tuition is non-refundable unless the spot can be filled by a suitable replacement. If the spot is filled, a full refund will be issued, minus processing fees.
For series classes with multiple session dates, cancellations made more than 7 days before the first class are eligible for a full refund, minus processing fees.
If a cancellation is made within 7 days of the first class date of a series class, tuition is non-refundable unless the spot can be filled by a suitable replacement. If the spot is filled, a full refund will be issued, minus processing fees.
No refunds or prorated credits will be given for missed sessions in a series class.
Actors are welcome to find a suitable replacement if they can no longer attend, but Save My Audition must be notified of that replacement as soon as possible. Any financial arrangements made with that replacement are the responsibility of the original actor
-
If you miss a session in a multi-session class series, no refunds or prorated credits will be given for that missed session.
Series classes are structured as a full commitment, and your enrollment reserves your place in the class as a whole, not just on the days you are able to attend.
Please make sure you are available for the full series before signing up.
-
If a class is full and you'd like to attend, please join the waitlist directly through the Waitlist button above the class listings.
If there is enough demand and the waitlist is strong, I will do my best to add another date whenever possible. Not every full class will result in another section being added, but if people want the class, I absolutely pay attention to that.
-
The best way to hear about new classes is to join the Save My Audition mailing list.
New classes are announced there, and some classes may be offered to email subscribers first. From time to time, free classes and workshops may also be offered, with advance notice going to subscribers.
If you want the best shot at getting into a class before it fills up, get on the list.

What happens if Save My Audition cancels or reschedules a class?
If Save My Audition needs to cancel or reschedule a class for any reason, actors will have the option to receive either credit toward a future class or a full refund, including any fees paid.If a class is rescheduled, actors who can attend the new date may remain enrolled. Actors who are unable to attend the rescheduled date will be eligible for a full refund, including fees.
Every effort will be made to avoid cancellations or schedule changes, but if one becomes necessary, communication will be sent as promptly as possible.
-
Want to audio record your work session? Ask first. The instructor gets the final say.
Video recording of class is not permitted. This is to protect the privacy and creative safety of every actor in the room.
-
All workshops and classes associated with Save My Audition are a learning experience. They are not an audition or employment opportunity. As such, when the workshop or class is over the instructor teaching will not be taking home, nor be given access to your headshot, resume or any other of your promotional materials.
