Classes are typically held at:
AMDA Studios
244–250 W 54th Street
New York, NYWhy do you use AMDA Studios instead of audition-focused spaces like Pearl Studios or Ripley-Grier?
I intentionally choose AMDA Studios because it helps create a healthy separation between class and audition environments.Studios like Pearl and Ripley-Grier are strongly associated with the audition process, which can sometimes make a class feel like an extension of the audition room. At AMDA Studios, the focus stays where it belongs: on learning, growth, and building confidence.
You may still notice the energy of a busy training space — students in the lobby, hallway noise, or other classes happening nearby — and that’s part of the value. Those everyday sounds help reinforce that this is a place to learn, explore, and take risks, rather than a place where you’re being evaluated by industry professionals.
The goal is to create an environment that feels active and professional, while still giving students the freedom to grow without the added pressure of audition expectations.

Enrollment in class is open to anyone regardless of Union status.
Please come prepared to work.

Payment is due at checkout for all classes.
For classes over $99, a payment plan option is available. If you choose that option, a $99 deposit will be due at checkout, and you’ll be contacted directly to set up a plan for the remaining balance.
Any remaining balance must be paid before the first class.
If you need a little more time or added flexibility, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I’m always happy to work with families to create a payment arrangement that feels comfortable and manageable. Above all, please don’t feel that you need to overextend yourself financially.

If an actor needs to cancel more than 3 days before class, they may receive a full refund of any money paid, minus processing fees.
If an actor cancels within 3 days of the class date, tuition is non-refundable unless a suitable replacement can be found. If the spot is filled by another actor, a full refund will be issued, minus processing fees.
If an actor needs to cancel on the day of class due to illness or another unforeseen circumstance, a refund will generally not be available, even if a replacement can be found. Same-day changes are very difficult to manage, and a great deal of planning goes into organizing each class.
That said, I truly understand that life happens. While I do need to have a clear cancellation policy in place, I will always do my best to help whenever possible — including in last-minute situations. Please just know that accommodating same-day changes can require significant extra coordination.
Actors are also welcome to find a suitable replacement if they are unable to attend. Any financial arrangements made with that replacement are the responsibility of the original actor.
